ProvidenceAcevedo, Omar E., 26, of Vermont Avenue, died Tuesday at home. Born in the Dominican Republic, a son of Juan O. and Daisy A. (Montalvo) Acevedo, he had lived in Providence most of his life. Omar was a licensed asbestos removal contractor for the last several years. Beside his parents, he leaves a brother; Ramon S. Acevedo and his wife Omayra, a sister; Niozoti P. Acevedo, his maternal grandparents; Ramon A. and Norma I. Montalvo, a niece; Isabella M. Acevedo, and a nephew; Adrian D. Crum. He was the paternal grandson of the late Ana Dora Pujols. The funeral will be held Saturday, at 8:00 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Charles Borromeo Church, Dexter Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Friday, 4 - 9 pm.
