Pasquale DeMasi III

Pasquale DeMasi III, 72, passed away September 4, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Judith A. (Montaquila) DeMasi; son of the late Pasquale Jr. and Rose (Pella) DeMasi; devoted father of Kristen L. DeMasi and her husband Steven Suggs, and Derek J. DeMasi; cherished Poppy of Emma, Lilla and Cole; brother-in-law of Camille and Billy Pare and Margaret Montaquila. He also leaves several loving nieces and nephews and his devoted friend Frank Tutalo.

Pat was a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with a degree in Business Administration where he was secretary of Mu Psi Alpha fraternity. He was an employee of the state of RI as an accountant for 32 years auditing nursing homes throughout the state. He served as treasurer of AFSCME. He was also a member of the Rosario Society.

An avid sports fan, he loyally supported the Boston Red Sox and the NY Giants. He also enjoyed horse racing.

Pat will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his penchant for teasing. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will be held Monday, 5-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 or www.stjude.org/donate.

Judy and Family,

So sorry to hear about Pat's passing. He was such a fun loving guy at Mt. Pleasant High School. I had so many fun times times with Pat in high school. RIP my man !!! It was a pleasure to have known him.
