Wheeler, Perry D., age 66 of Basswood Rd, passed away on October 7th at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Downes-Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a self employed attorney and a retired Providence police officer. He was also a Vietnam Veteran, and a state lobbyist for the NRA. Besides his loving wife of over six years he leaves 2 daughters, Jill Mancuso and Jennifer Wheeler, Brother of Fran Douglas and grandfather of 3. His funeral will be held on TUESDAY at 10am from the RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Patrick Church, Smith St., Providence.
