

CranstonParisi, Peter, 94, died Sunday, August, 27, 2006 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband for 68 years of the late Madeline (Sweeney) Parisi. Born in Providence, May 7, 1912, he was a son of the late Carlo and Giovannina (Masi) Parisi. He is survived by his loving son, Peter R. Parisi and daughter-in-law, Judith Cadigan-Parisi, of Greenville, his cherished grandchildren Karen Yuro of Coventry, Cheryl Parisi-Ciolfi and her husband Robert Ciolfi of Cranston, and his beloved great- grandchildren, Makayla and Olivia Yuro of Coventry. He was the loving brother of the late Charles, John, and Stephen Parisi and Pasquilina "Lena" Patience. He leaves many nieces and nephews. Peter and his brothers, Charles and John, were the founders of Parisi Tool Corp., a jewelry findings manufacturer, and Parco Manufacturing, a costume jewelry manufacturer in Providence. He began his career as a tool and die maker. He was a past president of the Metal Findings Manufactures Association, a past member of the Providence Jewelers Club, and the Manufacturers, Jewelers & Silversmiths Association. Peter was a member of the St. Joseph Guild at Immaculate Conception Church. He served in the Rhode Island National Guard during the 1930'sPeter was devoted to his family, to his parish at Immaculate Conception Church, was an avid golfer, and loved the seashore. He enjoyed watching sports, especially Red Sox and Patriots games.His funeral will be held Thursday, August, 31 at 9:15 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in the Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8 pm.
