

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Antoinette (Gazerro) Rivelli and brother of the late Edward Rivelli.
Peter spent most of his career as a meat-cutter in many venues throughout the State of RI.
His love of the NY Yankees was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandson.
Peter volunteered at Saint Anthony’s Church in many capacities; The Feast Committee, The Bag Lunch Program and participated in several cabarets.
Peter was a member of Saint Anthony’s Holy Name Society, he served as a 4th degree Knight with the Scalabrini Council of the Knights of Columbus and was also an active member of the Saint Anthony’s choir for many years.
He was the loving father of Michael Rivelli (Diane) and Maria Bliss (Charles); cherished grandfather of Allison Hourahan (Kevin), Nicholas Rivelli, Emily Bliss, Kaitlyn Bliss and great-grandfather of Henry Hourahan. He also leaves many cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews.
His visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will be private.
