Peter R. Troino

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Anna (Micheletti) Troino.

Peter was a mechanic at Butler Chevrolet and proudly owned and operated Vic’s Tap for more than 40 years. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran.

Peter was an avid NASCAR Modified fan and especially enjoyed spending time with “his toys” watching his grandson play sports and riding motorcycles. He will be remembered for his love of family, his hard work, and the many years he spent as a familiar and beloved presence in his community.

He was the loving father of Erica Harris and her husband, Jerome, and the cherished grandfather of Jerome “Romey” Harris. Brother of the late John Troino, and former husband of Cynthia Mello. He was a companion to Nancy Klekot.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peter’s memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
