Philip V. Viscione, age 80, passed away January 25, 2022. He was the son of the late Vito and Constance (Simione) Viscione; beloved husband of Regina (Tedeschi) Connor; and brother of Janice Brothers of Uxbridge, MA.
He was president of Gnecco and Grilk, Peabody MA for over twenty-five years, as a nationally recognized leather tanner. Additionally, he was employed as a field tester for Universal Testing Services, Stoneham MA.
He especially enjoyed cooking, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
