

Born in New Bedford, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ann (Kenler) Feinstein.
Phyllis was a 1967 graduate of New Bedford High School, a 1971 graduate of Hartt College of Music, and a student at Berklee College of Music. Able to play melodies by ear as a toddler, she was enrolled in piano study by age 4, developing her gift throughout her schooling, ultimately studying as a concert pianist at Hartt. Following school, she married Carlos A. Dias with whom she had a daughter, Greta, and a son, Jeffrey. As Mr. Dias started Coastal Bus Co, Phyllis began managing all aspects of the business. She later parlayed these skills into a long and successful career in medical device companies, working for decades as a dedicated business manager and salesperson for Spectra Medical of Wilmington until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Greta Dias of East Hampton, Connecticut; her brother, Steven Feinstein and his wife Jennifer London of Newton Highlands, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Aiden Nolan; her long-time companion, George Eisinger of Tewksbury; three nephews, Aryeh, Eliezer and James Feinstein and a niece, Elizabeth Feinstein. She was the mother of the late Jeffrey Dias.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Graveside Burial, Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Plainville Cemetery, Old Plainville Rd., New Bedford.
