Ralph D. DiStefano, 91, passed away October 10, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Jennie (Bruno) DiStefano; devoted father of Donna Austin and her husband Dr. Victor, MD, Geraldine Parente and her husband Anthony, Carol O’Day and her husband Kevin, Ralph DiStefano and his wife Tracy; cherished grandfather of 9 and one great-granddaughter; brother of Florence Hunt, Eugene DiStefano and the late John DiStefano.
Ralph was a WWII Army veteran. He retired from the former Providence Gas Company where he worked for 46 years.
Visitation Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
