Randy was the brother of Robert Sorrentino, Jr., Jacklyn Razza and her husband Christopher, Sara Aljallad and her husband Mohammed and Katelynn Sorrentino and her fiancée Marc. He was also the grandson of Marie Dalma and uncle of Layla, Zaid and Christopher, Jr.
Randy attended Pleasant View School, Springfield Junior High, Hope High School then graduated from Pathways (thru Trudeau). As an adult he attended the J. ArthurTrudeau day program. He lived with his family for most of his life before transitioning to Seven Hills agency where he lived for one year.
He enjoyed all things Disney and his other favorite was PBS’s Arthur. He loved all kinds of food, especially pizza, sweets, and candy. Randy had a fascination with books and other stationary items (paper, calendars, markers, pencils, pens, etc.). He would spend countless hours writing quotes and taking notes from his favorite movies, characters, or anything that he heard. Randy would always reference movie quotes and got all his family members to repeat them.
Though Randy met so many people over the years, he had a very special friend, the late John White. John introduced him to so many people out in the community. He and Randy loved to thrift shop, play musical instruments, watch various musicians/ bands, and try new restaurants. Randy and John had a special friendship, and now they are back to celebrating each other in Heaven with all of Randy’s other late relatives.
He brought joy and laughter to all his friends and family over the years. His unique way of looking at and living life created so many beautiful memories for his family and friends. As we would always say, “Randy made the World a better place.”
His funeral and burial will be private.
