Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late James and Prudence (Allen) Campbell.
Ray was a liaison for American Power Conversion for several years before retiring. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam and continued serving his country with the Army Reserves totaling 22 ½ years before being Honorably discharged. He was a great lover of animals and fostered many for 26 years.
He was the father of Raymond J. Campbell, Michael Banaczuk and his wife Kimberly and Michelle Phillips and her partner Robin. He was also the grandfather of Stephanie, Eric, Caleb, Jacob, Victoria, Benjamin and Alexander.
His funeral services will be private.
