Raymond Conca, Sr

Raymond Conca, Sr., 76, of Smithfield, died on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Miriam Hospital, in Providence.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfred Sr. and Mary (Pachino) Conca.He was a professional singer for many years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and loved music. Raymond was an avid New York Yankees fan and also loved Cadillac cars.He leaves his children, Maria Martin, Raymond Conca, Jr, Tammy Boecher, Nina Kane, and Lisa McLellan; a brother, Alfred Conca; and five grandchildren, Dean Boecher, Hayden Conca, Elaina Ball, Logan Conca, and Luke Boecher.His funeral will be held on Saturday, at 7:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am, in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence. Interment will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Visiting hours, Friday 5:00 to 8:00 pm.
