Middleboro, MA- Barnes, Richard I., 76, of Fox Run, died Sunday at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the husband of Lorraine I. (Mandeville) Barnes and former husband of Diana (Coogan) Barnes. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Grace (Barnes) Pacheco. Richard was an engineer with General Dynamics in Taunton, MA for twenty years retiring in 2006. Besides his wife and former wife he is survived by his children, Susan Barnes-Brown, Jeffrey Barnes,Wenda Barnes, Maribeth Barnes, Christopher Barnes, Michaela Barnes-Gordon, Timothy Barnes and Denise Mahoney, his brother, Carl Pacheco, two sisters, Laura Morris and Grace Pacheco and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
