

Born in Cambridge, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Schultz) Brilliante. He is survived by his sister Patricia L. Williams of Beverly Hills, FL and his brother Leonard H. Brilliante of Bradford, MA, as well as nieces Leslie Williams-Dunn and Debra Williams and grand-nephews Cameron Dunn and Matthew Herra.
He attended Don Bosco High School and Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He was a retired Army veteran having served his tour of duty in Berlin, Germany. He was a printer by trade and a past employee of Cuneo Press, Cambridge, MA. He was a photo lab technician for Raytheon and most recently retired from the Providence Rhode Island School System. His hobby since he was young was trains and was a member of the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, ME.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 11 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 12 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Richard's name to The DaVinci Center, 470 Charles Street, Providence, RI 02904.
