Richard Albert Carmone

Richard Albert Carmone, 56, of Johnston passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at home. He was the loving fiancée of Colleen Kiernan; father of Syerra Marie Carmone; stepfather of Anthony Kiernan, Nickolas Morgera and Noah Kiernan and stepbrother of Rhonda and Denise Melucci. Rich also leaves his beloved cats, Johnny and Mopine aka Moms and was the son of Beverly Crowley and Albert Carmone and his wife Linda.

Rich was employed by Local 271 for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a diehard Boston Bruin, New England Patriot and Boston Red Sox fan. He also loved being around family and friends, going to concerts, especially balls on the parade with his close friends, his cats, going to the beach and on vacations.

Rich liked going to hockey games or just sitting at a baseball field watching the kids or adults play. He enjoyed cooking and was known for making his famous pizza. When not cooking, he loved going out to breakfast. But most of all, he treasured being with his fiancée, Colleen, who he loved dearly. They were always together.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 2026 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.

Burial will be private.
