Richard Haroutunian

Haroutunian, Richard age 79, passed away on January 27, 2010 at home. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Dick and Elizabeth(Chilingerian) Haroutunian. Richard is survived by a daughter Diane Barringer, grandchildren Aaron Barringer and Michelle Yeglic all of Houston TX, a sister Joyce Torosian and husband Theodore of Whitinsville, MA, nephews Ted Torosian and wife Cheryl of Oxford, MA, and Gary Torosian and wife Susan of Leominster, MA, a niece Melanie De Pasquale and husband David of Whitinsville, MA. He also is survived by many Grand nieces and nephews. Richard served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a life member of the 102nd Aircraft control & Warning Squadron Assoc., and also a charter member of the East Providence Elks Lodge 2337. He retired from the Postal Service, Turnkey branch in 1990. His funeral will be held on SATURDAY at 9:45am from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a funeral service at 11am in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence. Interment with military honors will follow in North Burial Ground. Visitation will be FRIDAY from 5-8pm.
