Rita Pace, 87, of North Providence, RI passed away peacefully at her home on May 6th 2021.

Born on August 25th 1933, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Arlia) Pate and the wife of the late William Pace.

Rita was known for her quiet yet spunky demeanor as well as her fierce love for her family, and her high heeled shoes. Rita worked in the jewelry industry from the time she was 14 until her retirement at the age of 80. Rita was the most kind and hospitable woman; she loved to spend her free time cooking and baking for family and friends, and she was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

She is survived by her two loving daughters: Denise Sergiacomi and Linda Doorley, as well as her sister Angelina DeLuca, and her brother John Pate. Rita was a beloved grandmother to her four grandchildren: Anthony, Nicholas, Jeannine, and Amanda, and a treasured great grandmother to her great granddaughter Olivia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services and burial will be private.

Hi Denise,
I was sorry to learn of your mothers passing. I liked your mother, she was a hard worker and a nice person. She was "spunky". I remember how mad she would get when the Red Sox blew the game.

I will also remember both your parents.

Best wishes,

Dave

So sorry for your loss. Such fond memories of Auntie Rita. It was always a welcoming feeling the moment you walked in the door. Every time I was there she was always doing something baking, painting, yard work, sewing... A gentle soul with a kind heart. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

Rest In Peace Auntie Rita, ❤️.

When I was a kid, I have nice memories of my Aunt Rita, she was a real lady, she happened to be my favorite aunt. I know that this woman has a front row seat reserved for her from her father in Heaven. I just remember her being a sweet lady with a beautiful smile and a nice laugh. X 0 your nephew Stephen
