Rita Ann Pitochelli

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (DiMuccio) Giugliano.

Rita was an inspector in the jewelry industry for many years before her retirement.

She was devoted mother of Ernest F. Pitochelli Jr. (Deborah) and Diana Pitochelli, grandmother of Stephanie McVay, Ashley Iorfida and Jake Pitochelli, and great-grandmother of 4. She was predeceased by her siblings Albert Giugliano, Anthony Giugliano, John Giugliano Sr., Eleanor Zompa and Nancy Dolan.

Her visitation will be held on Monday May 19, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 am in the Romano Funeral Home 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will follow R.I. Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter.
