BALL, ROBERT M., 85, passed away Saturday April 11, 2015. He was the husband of Elinor (Fielder) Ball; they were married for 45 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Harry and Harriet (Feinstein) Ball, he was a longtime resident of Providence and Rehoboth and a current resident of Aiken, SC. He was a former textile manufacturer, numismatist, and a real estate developer of The Mills in Pawtucket. He was a former Navy and Navy Reserve Lieutenant. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Stuart and Daniel Ball and his sister in laws Marie and Renee Ball. He was the brother of the late Marvin and Jerry Ball. Funeral services will be held Friday April 17th at 2PM at the Redwood Chapel in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd, Providence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Shiva will be private.
