Born in Providence he was the son of the late Raymond John and Henrietta ( Spitznagel ) Brown.
Mr. Brown is a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country during the Korean conflict.
Mr. Brown is survived by his children Robert E. Brown, Jr. of Cranston, Deborah A. Salone of Cranston, Kathleen M. Beaver and her husband Kevin of Richmond, his brother Alvin Brown of Coventry, sisters Teresa Smith of Cranston and Dorothy MacNally of Providence. Grandfather to 11, Great Grandfather to 11 and Great Great Grandfather to 5. Robert was the brother of the late Raymond Brown, William Brown, Charles Brown, Calvin Brown and Henrietta Wood.
Funeral will be held Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9:00am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday May 12, 2022 from 4:00-7:00pm. Please be advised, the family is requesting that all who attended to please wear a mask.
