Woonsocket Robert Corriea, 80, of Front Street, died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Pauline D. (Fafard) Corriea.Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward and Anna (DeSilva) Corrie.He served his country proudly as a member of the U.S. Army.Robert was a melter of precious metals for Handy and Harmond Company for many years before retiring.Besides his wife, he leaves a son, David L. Corriea and his wife Francine, two daughters, Debra A. Miller and Erica Lee Rodregues, two brothers, Edward M. Corriea and Glenn A. Corriea, two sisters, Barbara A. Wright and Betty J. Hardy, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.Robert's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Monday 4:00 -7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's name to a charity of one's choice.
