Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Pasco and Claire (Murphy) Domenicone.
Robert was a drive for Universal Construction for over 20 years before retiring. He also owned and operated his own auto body business and he worked for LaFazia’s and Niantic Autobody. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
He was the father of Robert D. Domenicone, Jr. and Tracy Aitchison; grandfather of Robert, III, William Aitchison and Melinda Filion and her husband Juan and great grandfather of Jayden. He was also the brother of Joseph Domenicone and the late Pasco and Edward Domenicone.
His funeral and burial will be private.
