Robert “Bob” Henry Godbout, 59, of Cranston, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at home, surrounded by family. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie G. (Manfredi) Godbout and a son of the late Rene and Armand (Letourneau) Godbout. He is survived by his two daughters, Crystal G. Godbout and Tiffany M. Godbout and her companion Sarah St. Amand; his six siblings, Thomas Godbout, Charles Godbout, Peter Godbout, Maureen Denoncour, Jacqueline Haile, Carol Warren, and countless nieces and nephews.
Robert grew up in the north end of Providence where he met many lifelong friends. He spent four of his younger years traveling the world while in the Navy. For the past 25 years, he worked as a boiler technician at Dupuis Oil in Pawtucket. He has enjoyed his time most while watching the Patriots, sitting on the front porch rocking in his chair, caring for his daughters and animals, sitting by the fire, and spending time with all of his loved ones. Robert had an infectious laugh that would fill up the room with joy. He would do anything he needed to make sure that everyone he loved was safe and happy, and will continue to do the same as he lives on within our hearts.
