Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Marco and Angelina (Marocco) Mizzoni.
Bob was a truck driver for several years and later was a Property Control Supervisor for the State of Rhode Island Office of DCYF. He also served as president of Local 2876, AFSCME.
He was the father of Robert L. Mizzoni and Carol Ann Mizzoni-Ptomey and brother of the late Natalino, Anna and Thomas Mizzoni.
His funeral and visitation will be held Thursday from 8:30 – 10:30 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.
