Robert Thomas Roberge

WEST GREENWICH - ROBERGE, Robert T., 62, of Victory Highway, died peacefully Friday at his home. He was the beloved husband of Joyce L. (Rameika) Roberge. This month they would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary. Mr. Roberge had been a tractor-trailer driver for Macera & Martini Co. for several years before recently retiring. He enjoyed cars and car shows, and was a Corvette enthusiast. He was a member of both the Corvette Club of RI and South Coast Corvettes. He was also an avid fisherman. Besides his wife he leaves his children, James T. Roberge and his wife Robin of Coventry, and Gayle L. Roberge and her husband Robert of Richmond; a brother Joseph R. Roberge of West Warwick, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Donald E. Roberge. His funeral will be Tuesday at 7:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Rd., Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in SS. John & Paul Church, 321 So. Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation Monday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 in his memory will be appreciated.
