Born in Princeton, Illinois, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary (Matuszewski) Stergulz. Robert was a longtime resident of Providence and a devoted member of the Catholic faith, actively participating in The Church of St. Augustine throughout the years.
Robert found great enjoyment in bowling and was a dedicated member of several Monday Night Bowling Leagues, where he formed many lasting friendships and shared countless memorable moments.
He is lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew, Kimberly (Stergulz) Presland, Teri (Stergulz) Roberts, Trisha (Stergulz) Colletti, and Michael Stergulz. He was the brother of the late David Stergulz and the late John Stergulz.
In accordance with his wishes, funeral services and burial will be held privately in Illinois.
