Rodney T. Bassett,63, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016.Born in Providence he was a son of the late Robert E. and Miriam E (Gilbody) Bassett.Rodney is survived by his daughters Melissa Bassett and Nicole Bassett and her husband David Sazo, son David Grundy, brothers; Robert E. Bassett, Jr., and David J. Bassett. Sisters: Cathleen M. Hunter and Judy A. Bassett. He also leaves two grandchildren Kristiana Faccenda and Christian Sazo.Visitation will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 from 5:00pm-8:00pm in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private.
