Ronald A. Amitrano

Ronald A. “Ronnie” Amitrano, 81, of Forand Circle, Johnston passed away April 19, 2018 in Miriam Hospital. He was the devoted husband for 63 years to Anne (Panciocco) Amitrano.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Anna (Tartoria) Amitrano.

Ronnie owned and operated Ronnie Amitrano Concrete for 55 years before retiring. He was a dedicated family man who cherished his wife, children and grandchildren.

He was the father of Anne Reichert and her husband Daniel and the late Rhonda Amitrano and Ronald Amitrano, Jr.; grandfather of Daniel Reichert, Jr. and his fiancé Jessica and Renee Reichert and her companion Matthew; great grandfather of Matthew O’Connors, Jr.; uncle to several nephews and a cousin and friend to many. He was also the brother of the late Betty Rego and brother in law of the late Ralph Rego.

His funeral will be held Monday at 8:45 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION SUNDAY 3-7 PM.
