Ronald Louis Tomasso

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Maria (Salzillo) Tomasso.

Ron was a supervisor for Goodrich for many years before retiring. He was a highly decorated U.S. Army Veteran during the Vietnam War where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

He was the father of Ronald L. Tomasso, Jr., Ryan Tomasso, Raylene Robeck, Rena Tomasso, Rayne Tomasso Owens, Renee Perez and Domenic Folco; grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 1. He was also the brother of Robert Tomasso, Linda Lombardi, Debra Matera, Patricia Brown and the late Richard and John Tomasso, Loretta Seal and Viola Tomasso and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

His funeral with visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 9:00 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors to follow in the R.I. Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron’s memory to the Wounded Warriors Project.
