Mr. Winter graduated Kenyon College, New York University Law School and additionally received a Master of Health Law.
He practiced as a Health Care Attorney in several hospitals in New York and Philadelphia. He was the Executive Director of the Providence Community Health Center in Providence before retiring.
Mr. Winter was a contributor and teacher of several organizations. He taught Healthcare Law at LaSalle and Widener Universities.
He was a student of classical music and was a volunteer and tour guide for many years in the Manor House and the entire campus of Tanglewood. Additional he enjoyed volunteering at the Friends of the Barrington Library as Treasurer. He enjoyed working with the Philadelphia Orchestra and organizing concerts for chamber music in Cherry Hill, N.J. The history of W.W.II and Churchill were additional passions.
Mr. Winter was loved deeply by his wife of 62 years Elena. Survivors include his son Neil and daughter Beth and three grandchildren, Alex, Erika, and Morgan. He will be missed very much by his family and friends.
A private funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021. Arrangements made by the Sugarman Funeral Home in Providence.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
