Rosanne Tessier

Born in Providence, Rosanne was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anne (Swirsky) Pototo. She was the beloved sister of the late Rocco Pototo and devoted her professional life to working as a bookkeeper in the trucking industry for many years before retiring.

Rosanne was the adored mother of Cheryl Richard and the late Joseph Tessier Jr. She was a cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Joey, Monique, and Melaine; a loving great grandmother to Aaron, Jada, Asia, Angellisa, Shawn, John, Enzo, and Alina; and a proud great great grandmother to Estella, Legend, Anyla, Kylo, and Jalise.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and especially loved round dancing with her longtime companion, Benny Broccoli. Her warmth, devotion to family, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 9:00–10:00 a.m. at the Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Funeral Home Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Rosanne’s legacy lives on through the generations she so dearly loved.
