Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelina (Pascale) Taldone & Joseph Taldone and Angelo Duva; wife of the late Joseph Altruda; mother of Camille Mollis and husband Mike, Joanne Beaucher and husband Wil, and Joseph Altruda; sister of the late Nicholas Duva, Phil Taldone and Carmela Martone; sister-in-law of Helga Duva, Rosalie (Altruda) Pierno, Alice Altruda and the late Emilia Altruda; beloved “Nana” of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Rose’s most important work was baking for all of her family.
Visitation will be held Monday, 5-7 p.m. with funeral services Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
