

Rose Ciotola, 88, passed away February 22, 2012 at the St. Antoine Residence surrounded by her family. She was the devoted wife of Anthony Ciotola for 64 years, with whom she would have shared their anniversary on April 26th.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Immacolata Izzi; father of Anthony J. Ciotola, Samuel L. Ciotola and wife Deborah, and Dr. Robert T. Ciotola and wife Cheryl; sister of Louis Izzi and the late Carl and John Izzi; grandmother of Samuel and wife Maureen, Julie, Christopher and his wife Michelle, and Elizabeth and her husband Michael; great-grandmother of Arron, Jillian and Brady.
Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, followed by entombment in the Highland Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, Johnston.
