Rose Fraielli

Rose Fraielli (Comella) 97, formerly of Providence passed away peacefully on Friday Morning, September 30, 2016 at Cortland Place. She was the wife of the late Pasquale Fraielli. She was born in Providence and owned and operated a beauty salon for many years. Mrs. Fraielli was an avid golfer at Kirkbrae Country Club and was crowned the first Mrs. Rhode Island in 1950. Rose leaves her three sons, Richard A. Fraielli, Sr., Kenneth Fraielli, and Ronald A. Fraielli, Sr.; a sister Anna Waters; and daughter-in-law Terry Fraielli; six grandchildren, Richard A Fraielli, Jr., Karen Fraielli, Kim Savastano, Sue Fraielli, Karen Geisser, Ronald A. Fraielli, Jr.; 13 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ronald, grandmother of the late David, mother-in-law of the late Janet and Barbara Fraielli, and sister of the late Mary, Charles, Frank and Sammy Comella.Her funeral with visitation will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 8:00am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, at Saint Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 N.
