Rose Yeater

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Andre J. and Eva (Hebert) Aquino. She was the devoted mother of Paul A. Rianna, Jr., with whom she lived, Andrea M. Rianna and Tiffany L. Yeater; cherished grandmother of Isaha Davis, Andre Williams, Jasiah Dunn, Aliziara Andriole and Jordan Dunn; and great-grandmother of Lee James Bartley. She was predeceased by her siblings, Peter and Angela Aquino.

Above all else, Rose was a loving mother and grandmother who placed her children and grandchildren at the center of her world. She cared for them with unwavering dedication, always ready with a listening ear, a warm meal, or words of encouragement. Her love was steady and practical—shown through everyday acts of kindness and the quiet strength she offered her family. Those who knew her will remember her as warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. She had a gentle way of making people feel welcome and valued, whether they were family, friends, or someone she had just met.

Rose worked hard throughout her life to support her family. She served as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where her compassionate nature and patience were a natural fit for caring for others. She later worked as a cashier at Dunkin’ Donuts and Market Basket, bringing the same friendly smile and strong work ethic to every shift. Coworkers and customers alike appreciated her upbeat spirit and the kindness she showed to everyone who came through the door.

Rose’s greatest joy came from the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the care she poured into her family, and the warm presence she brought into every room. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO FUNERAL HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, starting at 8:45 AM in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
