Ruth V. (Suter) Vieira, 80, passed away July 2, 2014. She was the wife of Richard Vieira Sr.; mother of Richard Jr. and wife Paula, Roy, Linda and husband Robert, Keith and wife Lisa; grandmother of 7 and 2 great-granddaughters; and sister of Ernest and the late Harold “Buddy”.
Ruth was a kind person who was always there to lend her support. She was a true lover of all animals. She enjoyed vacationing in Maine, spending time at the beach with her family. She always had a smile on her face and positive things to say to everyone. She was truly an angel and will be sadly missed.
Visitation Monday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Edward Church, 997 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow Street, Providence, RI 02903.
