

Salvatore “Sal” LoBello, 79, passed away February 6, 2014. He was the husband of Annette Fontaine and the late Hope M. (Mulligan) LoBello. He was a son of the late Guiseppe and Patrina (Comella) LoBello. He was the father of John J. LoBello, Sr. and his wife Sandra, Richard D. LoBello and his wife Jennifer, Robert A. LoBello and his partner Arsenio Silva and Joanne LoBello; grandfather of Victoria, Sarah, Lauren and the late Johnny LoBello, Jr.; and brother of William and Mario LoBello and the late Anthony, Richard, and Joseph LoBello.
Sal was an operating engineer for Narragansett Improvement Co. before retiring, a member of Local 57 International Union of Operating Engineers and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Thomas Church.
Visitation Tuesday 4-7 p.m. with a funeral on Wednesday at 9 a.m.at the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johnny LoBello Friendship Fund, P.O. Box 19432, Johnston, RI 02919.
