Sarah F. "Sally" King

Johnston Sarah F. "Sally" King, 89, of Cherry Hill Road, passed away on Thursday evening at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Lt. Raymond J. King, (Ret. PPD).Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Genevieve R. (Cade) Sweeney.Mrs. King worked as a clerk for the Records and Deeds Department for the City of Providence for many years before retiring.She is survived by her brother, James A. Sweeney; a sister, Sr. Virginia Mary Sweeney, R.S.M; and her friend, Antoinette Lamontagne. She was pre-deceased by her son, Michael R. King, and two brothers, John R. Sweeney, and Clyde C. Sweeney. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, at 8:15 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Route 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Saint Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8 pm.
