Mr. Kaplan was a wonderful man. My family were neighbors of his family on Palmer St. in the late 50s. I played with his sons, and his Dachshund Sammie. I remember being invited to dinner one night, it was the first time I had spaghetti.

I later “reconnected” with him on his many visits to the Conservation Commission in Dartmouth.

My condolences to the family. RIP Mr. Kaplan.
