Sivilay Phivilay

Sivilay Phivilay, 95, of Providence, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Roger Williams Medical Center, in Providence, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Phila Phivilay. Born in Luang Prabang, Laos, she was a daughter of the late Khamphaou and Khampha Banouvong. She is survived by her children, Manivanh Phivilay, Khamsing Phivilay, Souansavanh Phivilay, Khamse Phivilay, Phonesawatry Phivilay, Keopraseuth Phivilay, Orathay Phivilay (Chanthanavong), Phone Phivilay, Vilaylack Phivilay, and Darina Phivilay (Sirisouk); 30 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. Sivilay was the mother of the late Chanhsamone Phivilay and Thatsamay Phivilay. Buddhist funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 8:00 am – 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Cremation to follow in Swan Point Crematory (Located within Swan Point Cemetery) 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence.
