PROVIDENCE - PODMASKA, Stanley, 72, of Smith Street, died Tuesday at the VAMC-Davis Park. Born in Providence, a son of the late Walter and Stacia (Burtum) Podmaska, he was a lifelong city resident. Mr. Podmaska had been a US Army veteran. He worked as a baker for many years until he retired. He leaves his brother, Walter J. Podmaska of Johnston, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Aldrich and Helen Chappell. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10am at the R.I. Veterans Cemetery Chapel, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
