Stephen was an expediter and designer in the jewelry industry for many years. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart for the wounds he received during combat.
He was the father of Serena Torres and her husband Edwin and grandfather of Cassandra and Dimitri. He was also the brother to 5 siblings.
