Steven Marc Bourgeois

Steven Marc Bourgeois, lovingly known as Steve, passed away on February 28, 2026. He was born on August 18, 1955, to his parents Stella and Frederic.

Steve proudly served his country in the United States military, carrying the same strength, loyalty, and dedication throughout his life. He was a devoted son, a caring brother, a proud uncle, and so much more to the many people who loved him.

Selfishness was never a word in Steve’s vocabulary. If he had two dollars, we had two dollars. His generosity and kindness were simply part of who he was.

One of the greatest lessons Steve taught us was that family is not always defined by blood. He showed us that family is built through love, loyalty, and the bonds we create with one another. Through his heart and spirit, he helped bring people together and made our family whole.

Steve shaped our lives in ways that words can hardly express. We will carry his lessons, his laughter, and his unconditional love with us always.

Though we may never again hug him or hear his voice say goodbye, we find peace looking to the sky, knowing he is watching over us. Forever in our hearts..

His Visitation will be held on Thursday March 5, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 at Romano Funeral Home, 627 Union Ave, Providence, RI 02909. Burial will be private.
