Steven Nelson Gould

Steven N. Gould, 63 of Providence, passed away on Saturday June 21, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Donna (Corte) Gould and companion of the late MaryBeth (Cormier) Marrone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph L. Gould and the late Elizabeth (Donahue) Gould.Mr. Gould was a lifelong member of Teamsters Local 25 and was employed by Mystic Island Transport for the past twenty five years before retiring in June of 2012. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He also loved the beach, camping and music.He leaves a daughter, Erica Bielawski, and her husband, Robert of Providence and a son Steven J. Gould, of Scituate. Mr. Gould is survived by three brothers, Joseph Gould, of West Warwick, William Gould, of North Providence and Richard Gould, of Warwick. He leaves four grandchildren, Amanda Bielawski, Christopher Bielawski, Steven Gould and Donna Gould. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews.His funeral will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, in Saint Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
