Steven M. York, age 47 of Grantland Rd, Cranston, Passed away on November 30, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Jean F. (Perry) York. Born in Providence he was the son of Donald and Mary (Green) York. Mr. York was employed by Duro Textile, and was also employed with Slater Printing for over 25 years. He was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family. Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his children, Jason M., Jenifer M., and Kristen L. York. He was the brother of Patty L. Whiting, Joyce E. York and Donn S. York. He was the grandfather of Chase Mang, Emani Segarra, and the late Alycea Melgar. he also leaves several neices and nephews His funeral with visitation will be held on MONDAY, at 8:30am followed by a service at 10am in The Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home Chapel 331 Smith St., Providence . Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
