Stuart R. Golde

Stuart R. Golde, 82, of Mansfield, passed away at home on Friday, June 26, 2006, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was the loving husband of Bonnie-Dee (Willgoos) Golde, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late David and Evelyn (Goldstein) Golde.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Stuart served as a lieutenant and Navy flight officer from 1969 to 1972. He earned a B.S. and an MBA from California State College at Long Beach. Before retiring, he built a 41-year career as a senior retail executive and business banker, working with companies including Ann and Hope, Swezey’s Department Store, Miller and Rhodes, Meier and Frank, and Santander.

In addition to his wife, Bonnie-Dee, he is survived by his brother, Robert; nieces, Staci (Lisa), Sarah (Tom), Rachel (Darrin); nephew, Robert (Bonnie); and great-nieces and great-nephews, Katleyn, Alex, Tyler, Megan, Emma, Erik, Madeline, Jack, Katie and Ethan.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, 458 Hope Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Burial will follow at Agudas Achim Cemetery in Attleboro, Massachusetts. Shiva will be held immediately afterward at Congregation Agudas Achim.
