She was the beloved wife of the late Richard “Rodney” Patterson Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Mildred (Bashaw) Durfee.
Susan was the devoted mother of the late Shawn Patrick Patterson. She is the loving sister of Mary Ellen LaCasse and Deborah Burchfield; and aunt of Anthony Ianiero, Ashley Jelley, Micaela LaCasse, Fallon Hicks, and Aaron LaCasse.
A committal service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at 11:30 am in the chapel at St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. Family and friends are invited to gather at the cemetery gates for 11:15 am.
