WarwickTheresa I. Phillips, 86, of Shalom Drive, died Thursday evening May 5, 2017 at Brentwood Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Jay R. Phillips.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Marie A. (La Chance) Dessaint.Theresa worked as an assembler for General Electric for 14 years before retirement. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.She leaves a son, John Rousseau and his wife Cathy; two daughters, Marie T. Leonard and her husband Richard, and Michelle A. Ritacco; a brother, Robert E. Dessaint; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Linda S. Zuercher; brothers, Roland, Albert, Eugene and George Dessaint, and sisters, Marie Senecal and Lillian Magnone.The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday, 5:00 - 8:00 pm.
