Thomas G. Ferry, Sr

Ferry, Thomas G, Sr. age 90, passed away on May 21, 2011 at Elmhurst Extended Care. He was the husband of the late Rita E. Gagnon. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Thomas and Annie (Connors) Ferry. Before retirement in 1982, Mr. Ferry was employed with Burgess Oil Co as an automotive mechanic. He was also a WWII Navy Veteran. He was the loving father of Thomas G. Ferry, Jr., Alice A. Ferry, Terri Mowry, Pat Moran, Debbie Gendreau, and Betty Murphy. Brother of Elizabeth Ferry and Nora McDevitt. He was also the grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 6. He was the brother of the late Edward, Raymond Ferry, Mary Lonergan and Helen Carr. His funeral will be held on THURSDAY at 9am from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 331 Smith St., PROVIDENCE, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pius V Church, Providence at 10am. Interment with military honors will be held in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation WEDNESDAY from 4 to 8pm.
