Thomas J. Lombardi, 71, of Bishop Hill Road, Johnston passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Pellegrino) Lombardi.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frederick and Evelyn (Young) Lombardi.

Tom, along with his brothers had owned and operated Advantage Home Medical for many years before retiring. He was a dedicated member of the Hope Center for Cancer Support and a founding member of The Brain Tumor Group of Rhode Island.

He was the loving father of Matthew Lombardi and his wife Casey and Jaclyn Brock and her husband Andrew and grandfather of Greyson and Teagan Brock and Vivian Lombardi. He was also the brother of Jon Lombardi and the late Dr. David Lombardi.

A Memorial Visitation for Tom will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. During visitation and funeral, social distancing and occupancy restrictions will be observed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org/donate. Dear Pat and family, and Jon,

I was so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I have such fond memories of Tom that I will always cherish. He was always good natured, pleasant and kind. He always made the skiing trips that he came on so enjoyable with his wonderful sense of humor.

Jackie and family,
Although I only met your dad a few times when we were growing up, I knew him as being kind hearted. Your mom and dad always made me feel welcome when I came to visit. Hi Pat, My sincere condolences from California. I looked at all the pictures on this site. Hugs to you and your entire family and a very big one for your mom. My memories of Tommy are endless, and full of smiles: him at the drugstore with a coffee and a paper/ laughing over baby Ronnie/late night debates with& at Vinnie and Elane’s/ Elton John playing ‘leaving on a jet plane ‘at going off party when he was off to the coast guard. /Him having baseball dreams screaming out” slide “ and waking you in the middle of the night/ moving into Bishop Hill/.... I can tell you were a wonderful wife and I knew he was an adoring husband. I can see Tommy and Geno and so many others living and laughing up in heaven. Dear Pat:
So sorry to hear about Tom. He was such a wonderful person, a great friend, father and husband. We had so much fun together playing softball and socializing with both of you. He had so many challenges through the years but always had a smile on his face. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by everyone he touched.
